When I was a teenager, I was always angry at the church. There were so many things that needed to be changed. Through the years I found that Rutgers was a place that let me say those things. They let me talk about what I thought needed changing, and they helped form me. I feel very grateful for that, and I like this place that takes seriously what we’re called to be as Christians, and we do struggle with it, and that’s what I like – the fact that we’re willing to change and grow and struggle.
