Somer Adams joined Rutgers Community Programs as an Instructor in 2007 and was named Asisstant Director of Community Programs in 2021. She teaches in the Ready, Set, Go! and Ready, Set, Go! Jr. programs. Somer has been in national and international road shows of several Broadway musicals. She is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy of New York and holds a teacher’s associate from the Imperial Society of Theatre Dance (ISTD). Somer’s additional training includes professional development courses at Bank Street College of Education on the Reggio-Emilia approach to education and classroom management in an inclusive classroom at Teachers College.
