The team of staff at Rutgers Community Programs are wonderful and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to work alongside them. After many years of teaching, I am a firm believer that through play, art and theater, children are able to grow as individuals, improving self-expression and promoting good self-esteem. I am thrilled to work for a program dedicated to the development of children, and passionate about doing so in a warm and creative environment. — Somer Adams, Community Programs Instructor
Thoughts and meditations from Pastor Andrew's desk.
When I was a teenager, I was always angry at the church. There were so many things that needed to be changed. Through the years I found that Rutgers was a place that let me say those things. They let me talk about what I thought needed changing, and they helped form me. I feel very grateful for that, and I like this place that takes seriously what we’re called to be as Christians, and we do struggle with it, and that’s what I like – the fact that we’re willing to change and grow and struggle. — Nora Lidell, church member
