Ready, Set, Go! Preschoolers Program

Spots are still available for the 2015-2016 school year! Contact Jennifer Moore at jmoore@rutgerschurch.org or 212-877-8227, x212 for information and enrollment.

3-5 years. Homeroom Instructors: Somer Adams, Monika Fisher, Denise LeDonne and Therese Snider.  Additional instructors: Cindy Schaffer and Lesley Countryman.

Our Ready, Set, Go! Preschoolers Program is dedicated to nurturing children’s innate creativity and curiosity in a flexible, non-competitive environment developed especially for 3-5 year-olds. We believe that children learn best through play; see this link on the benefits of play-based programs for preschoolers. Current enrollees get priority admission for the 2015-2016 school year; after that, admission to the program is on a first come, first served basis.

Ready, Set, Go! focuses on enrichment and exploration, allowing children to participate in activities in art, literacy, science, movement, and music. Class size is capped 12, and there are at least three instructors with the children at all times, to insure a nurturing environment for your child.

Children must be potty-trained to participate in the program.

I never tire of the perspective of a child, and find that their special clarity on any topic is what fascinates and energizes me as an instructor at Rutgers. — Denise LeDonne, Community Programs Instructor
